Milad Akbari is a PhD Researcher in the Bridges to the Future lab at the University of Southampton. His doctoral research focuses on surrogate modelling of ageing bridge networks subject to extreme dynamic loading, developing computationally efficient models to assess network-scale infrastructure resilience under seismic and other extreme hazards.
