Mahshad Molaei is a PhD Researcher in the Bridges to the Future lab at the University of Southampton. Her doctoral research focuses on the experimental investigation and numerical modelling of the nonlinear dynamic performance of multi-span ageing bridges retrofitted with smart composite materials, contributing to the lab’s wider programme on extending the service life of ageing infrastructure through advanced retrofit techniques.
